Emotional Freedom Techniques


Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often referred to as “tapping,” combines elements of cognitive and exposure therapy with  acupressure points as used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. EFT involves tapping on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on particular difficult emotions or physical sensations. The tapping helps calm the nervous system, rewire the brain’s response to stress, and promote emotional healing and relief from physical pain.

EFT is designed to address the energy imbalances that may contribute to emotional distress, thus leading to improvements in emotional and physical health.
